Terms of Business
Our Terms of Business reflect the normal practice of the industry but we recognise that it may be necessary to vary these to meet requirements not yet identified in a unfolding marketplace.
If your organisation has a method of working that is different we will be happy to consider any alternative proposal on its merits.
Our normal Terms and Conditions are:
- Payment by cheque or bank transfer / deposit within 14 days of invoice.
- The fee is variable dependent on the Report type and number of bedrooms of the property and is detailed in the table Here.
- The single fee quoted for a Home Condition Report includes the supply of an Energy Performance Certificate.
- All fees are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 15%, subject to goverment change. The Inspection will be scheduled by mutual agreement at the earliest available working day.
- Every effort will be made to ensure that appointments are kept as planned.
- The duration of the visit is variable depending on the property size and report but as an average it is expected that a three bed semi HCR will take about 2.5 hours. An EPC will take about 1 hour.
- The Report will normally be made within 24 hours of the site visit.
- In no case will the Report be later than 4 days after the visit.
- Complaints procedure on request in writing.
